Juju Chang, Josh Elliott make moves

Still more changes are afoot at ABC News, again at morning show “Good Morning America,” as well as “Nightline.” Juju Chang is leaving “GMA” to join “Nightline” as a fill-in anchor and special correspondent, and ESPN’s “SportsCenter” co-anchor Josh Elliott will join ABC News as “GMA” news reader.

“Chang will play a leading part in a number of the 13 primetime hours that ‘Nightline’ will produce this summer,” said ABC News prexy Ben Sherwood in a memo to staff. “She will also make major contributions to ’20/20,’ ‘World News’ and ‘GMA’ — as she has throughout her 23-year career at ABC News.”

Elliott has worked the international beat, as well — the reporter filed on the U.S. invasion of Iraq in 2003 while on assignment in the United Arab Emirates.

These are the first major changes at “GMA” since senior exec producer James Goldston took over in February.
