‘Glee’ creators honored for subject matter

Social issues strike chord with TV Academy Foundation

The creators of “Glee” and the Entertainment Industry Foundation will be feted April 9 at the TV Academy Foundation’s 32nd annual College Television Awards.

“Glee” creators/exec producers Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan will be honored for tackling social issues on their hit Fox series. EIF prexy and CEO Lisa Paulson will accept the kudo on behalf of her org, which facilitates philanthropy and social awareness campaigns within the showbiz community.

The awards ceremony will be held at the Renaissance Hotel in Hollywood.
