Int'l sales vet exits shortly after Lion hires NBCU alum Roma Khanna

Gary Marenzi, co-prexy of worldwide television at MGM Studios, is exiting the company.

Marenzi is stepping down just weeks after the conglom hired Roma Khanna as president of TV group and digital. She comes from NBCUniversal, where she left in March amid a shakeup at its international division.

Formerly co-president of worldwide television with Jim Packer, who left MGM for Lionsgate in January, Marenzi had been with the company since 2007. It was his second stint at MGM, having served as president of the MGM Telecommunications Group for five years beginning in 1992.

MGM declined comment.
