NBC PR vet Jamie French has been tapped as communications VP for Style.
French will oversee all corporate messaging and media outreach for the consumer, trade and business strategies for Style. He will also serve as chief spokesperson for the network and, as a member of the senior management team, contribute to the overall direction of the femme-skewing cabler.
He will report to both Style prexy Salaam Coleman Smith and PR exec VP Cameron Blanchard.
French most recently served as senior director at NBC publicity, where he oversaw the “The Voice.” Other Peacock skeins under his purview included “Friday Night Lights,” “Parenthood,” and “The Event.”
Said Coleman Smith: “His consumer expertise, creative instincts and extensive relationships with the media make him a perfect fit with Style during this exciting phase of record – breaking performance and strong growth for the network.”
