Fox picks up ‘Little in Common’

Comedy pilot comes from Rob Thomas

Fox has picked up the Rob Thomas comedy pilot “Little in Common.”

Single-camera laffer from Warner Bros. Television centers on a group of adults who become unlikely friends because of their kids’ sports teams.

Thomas, who wrote the script, exec produces with Danielle Stokdyk, Jennifer Gwartz and Dan Etheridge. He returns to broadcast after showrunning Starz comedy “Party Down.”

Fox recently gave the go-ahead to WBTV pilot “I Hate My Teenage Daughter” from creators Sherry Bilsing-Graham and Ellen Kreamer.
