Exec specializes in on-air marketing at cabler

USA Network has promoted Aaron Ford to VP of on-air marketing.

Ford, who has been at the cabler since 2000 and remains based in New York, will manage the on-air marketing team as well as oversee all promotional scheduling and planning for USA Network, Cloo and Universal HD channels.

In his new job Ford will reach more extensively into digital areas and engage in online initiatives and sales efforts, with a special focus on theatrical films that air on USA.

“Aaron is our decisive resource in terms of all things on-air for the network,” said senior VP Alexandra Shapiro. “He’s an invaluable asset to our company.”
