Food Network orders more ‘Restaurant: Impossible’

Cabler asks for 26 additional episodes

Food Network has given “Restaurant: Impossible” an order for an additional 26 episodes.

Skein has been popular on the cabler and is current in its second season airing 10 p.m. Wednesdays. Show recently set a high mark with 2.8 million viewers tuning in and the viewership is up 33% among the 25-54 demo from a season ago.

Premise of the series is to save a restaurant from impending failure in just two days with a $10,000 infusion. Chef Robert Irvine goes through the books, assesses the staff, updates the menu and implements changes.

Show is produced by Marc Summers Prods.,and Shooters TV.
