‘Flipped’ ordered up by A&E

Former 'Survivor' takes on housing market

A&E has ordered seven hourlong episodes of unscripted series “Flipped.”

The show follows former “Survivor” competitor Russell Hantz as he tries to earn a living buying, renovating and reselling houses in the Houston area.

The show is skedded for fourth quarter 2011 and is produced for A&E Network by Departure Films. Max Weissman, Matt Levine and Tim Robbins serve as executive producers for Departure Films. Exex producers for A&E are David McKillop, Elaine Frontain-Bryant and Jessica Morgan.
