NBC reality series to fill 8 p.m. Monday timeslot
NBC has set a return date for “Fear Factor,” bringing back the reality skein for a two-hour premiere on Dec. 12.
Show will fill the Monday 8-10 p.m. timeslot vacated by “The Sing Off,” which wraps Dec. 5. The second season of “The Voice” then takes over on Feb. 6.
In “Fear Factor,” players compete to see who can endure the most stomach-churning tasks. Show aired on NBC from 2001-06 and was hosted by Joe Rogan, who returns.
“We have taken the ‘Fear Factor’ franchise that many fans remember fondly and have ramped it up to make it even more challenging and competitive than ever before,” said NBC alternative topper Paul Telegdy.
