After a tour of the Governors Ball at the L.A. Convention Center, followers of the Emmy on Sept. 18 trekked to the Pacific Designer Center, which HBO had transformed into an island-themed paradise.
Over at Fig & Olive, the Fox party took on the feel of a family gathering — a big family gathering — as the “Modern Family” and “Glee” clans took center stage.
Comedy Central’s party at Colony was full of old friends in T-shirts and not very many ladies in evening gowns.
“This is a party full of comedy nerds,” explained “The Daily Show’s” Wyatt Cenac, Emmy in hand. “It’s not the sexiest party.”
