Josh Lieb has left the role of exec producer at Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show With Jon Stewart,” which announced a string of promotions in the wake of his exit.
Steve Bodow, Jennifer Flanz and Jim Margolis all now hold the title of co-exec producer, while Tim Carvell has been upped to head writer and Pam DePace to supervising producer. Stewart remains exec producer, writer and host. Lieb will move to L.A. to write a comedy pilot for Warner Bros., which is producing for NBC. Lieb says the project is “an old-school workplace multicamera sitcom, set at a car rental agency in Dallas.”Exec shuffles at ‘Daily Show’
