Kirk Iwanowski joins pay TV company from FilmDistrict
Epix has appointed FilmDistrict alum Kirk Iwanowski as chief marketing officer.
He’s tasked with overseeing marketing strategy for the pay TV channel and its VOD services.
Iwanowski was most recently senior veep of marketing at Graham King’s FilmDistrict, where he was responsible for theatrical advertising of wide releases including “Soul Surfer” and “Drive.” Before that, he worked for Sundance Channel as exec veep of marketing, branded entertainment and sponsorship.
Epix is the two-year-old joint venture of Viacom, MGM and Lionsgate.
