Electus announced the sale of holiday special “A Michael Buble Christmas” to more than 60 territories abroad. The show is slated to air Tuesday night on NBC.
The one-hour special has been purchased by major networks in countries including Australia (Channel 7), Canada (CTV), Brazil, (Globosat), Latin America (Televisa Networks), Mexico (TV Azteca) and South Africa (Mnet).
“Christmas” was sold through the company’s Electus/Engine Distribution arm. The special features the Grammy Award-winning singer performing cuts from his Christmas album with special guests including Justin Bieber, Thalia, Ed Helms and Tracy Morgan.
Selling overseas has always been a key strategy for Electus, which has international plans in place for other TV properties including “Mob Wives” and “Fashion Star.”
Since founder Ben Silverman brought aboard fellow Reveille alum Chris Grant as CEO last month, Electus is likely to renew its push for global growth.

Electus owns distribution rights across all platforms for “Christmas,” which it produced with Brad Lachman Prods.
