David-e-kelley-picture-1 David E. Kelley isn't giving up on "Wonder Woman" just yet.

Warner Bros. TV hoped to make a gigantic sale this development season on Kelley's "Wonder Woman" redux, but the pitch may have come too late in the year for networks. After not getting a level of interest to their liking, the studio and Kelley will instead come back later.

"The bottom line is, I had a lot of fun writing it," Kelley said. "I'm optimistic that we'll still do it… It's a huge project. I was a bit much to ask anyone to chew it for this season."

Kelley had come up with a take on "Wonder Woman" with a complicated character at its core. "Wonder Woman," as reimagined by Kelley, came with "a lot of human dimensions."

For now, Kelley remains focused on his new series "Harry's Law" at NBC. "Harry's Law" has already been shot, but Kelley remains deeply involved in the editing room.
