Instead of dishing out the laughs on a hit sitcom, guffaws will soon be coming at Charlie Sheen’s expense.
Comedy Central will roast the former “Two and a Half Men” star at a Sept. 10 taping in Los Angeles. Show will premiere Sept. 19, the same night the new season of the Ashton Kutcher-added “Men” debuts on CBS.
Cabler most recently roasted Donald Trump from Gotham. Other roastees have included Joan Rivers, David Hasselhoff and Larry the Cable Guy.
”You could say I’ve been providing kindling for this roast for a while,” Sheen said. ”It’s time to light it up. It’s going to be epic.”
Joel Gallen is exec producer.
