Telepic is based on popular John Sandford novel
USA Network’s TV movie “Certain Prey” scored 5.1 million viewers Sunday night for the cabler.
That turnout meant it was the second most-watched telepic for the year, behind Lifetime’s “The Craigslist Killer.” “Certain Prey,” based on the John Sandford novel and starring Mark Harmon as a Minneapolis police chief on the hunt for a pair of killers, performed well with male viewers — just over 2 million — on a night where NBC’s “Sunday Night Football” program always draws a big number.
Pic was written and directed by Chris Gerolmo. Harmon exec produced with Michael Jaffe and Howard Braunstein.
