Movies on offer include 'Sex and Zen,' 'Child's Eye'

BUSAN — Celestial Movies, the regional pay TV unit of Celestial Pictures, is offering 3D pics as part of its new on-demand service, and launched the service with the 3D erotic film “3D Sex and Zen: Extreme Ecstasy.”

As well as “Sex and Zen,” which was the highest-grossing Chinese movie in Hong Kong this year, Celestial Movies On Demand is also offering the Pang Brothers’ “The Child’s Eye 3D” on the service, which bowed Thursday.

Subscribers with 3DTVs will be able to watch the two movies on demand in 3D and in their uncut full-length theatrical versions. Viewers without 3DTVs can also order the uncut versions of the two movies in 2D.

“We’ve seen the impact of 3D movies at the cinema, and Celestial Movies intends to bring that same experience home,” Ofanny Choi, senior VP of TV channels at Celestial Pictures, said in a statement.
