CBS sets ‘Same Name’ for summer

Net to also bring back 'Big Brother'

CBS has ordered reality series “Same Name” for summer.

Concept of the hourlong show involves a celebrity trading his identity with a stranger who shares the same name. For one week, the star and his counterpart live in each other’s houses, meet and interact with family, friends and co-workers and experience how the other lives.

First episode will star David Hasselhoff, who travels to Texas and trades lives with a 27-year-old high-voltage power technician who shares his name.

CBS didn’t indicate how many episodes were ordered or on which night the show would air. The Eye will air reality staple “Big Brother” once again in summer as well.

Cris Abrego, Eugene Young, Fax Bahr and Adam Small are exec producers. Series is produced by Cris Abrego Prods.
