Ten-episode season will focus on life in Los Angeles
Bristol Palin will be the focal point of a 10-episode unscripted series on cabler Bio. Skein is scheduled to premiere before the end of the year.Untitled project will follow Palin and her son Tripp as she moves to Los Angeles to work for a charity while living with Kyle Massey (whom Palin met as a contestant on ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars”) and his brother Christopher. Palin first gained national attention as the daughter of 2008 vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin and the subsequent coverage of her becoming a teenage single mother. Her notoriety then increased through her fall 2010 appearance on “Dancing,” where she reached the final round despite questions about her ability as a hoofer. “Bristol is the kind of personality Bio is drawn to,” A&E and Bio programming EVP David McKillop said. “Her personal life has been playing out in the media for several years, but this will be the first time she’s opening up her real life.” David McKenzie and Jim Romanovich will exec produce for Associated Television Intl.
