Berlamino named senior VP at CBS Stations

Former CW exec assumes post as director of sales

Betty Ellen Berlamino, who ran Gotham’s high-profile CW affiliate station WPIX for 10 years, has been named to the newly created position of senior VP and director of sales for CBS Television Stations.

In the new role, Berlamino will report to group sales prexy Jim Sullivan and focus on revenue growth at the group’s eight CW affiliates, three independents and one MyNetworkTV affiliate, along with working to develop cross-platform options for marketers across digital radio properties as well as local TV.

CBS Television Stations prexy Peter Dunn praised Berlamino in a release issued Monday morning. “We look forward to having her work with all of our local sales teams,” Dunn said, “and, given her experience leading the nation’s largest affiliate of the CW, we know that she will be especially helpful when it comes to sharing best practices with our CW stations.”
