Disney boss Bob Iger will be feted by the Alzheimer’s Assn. at its 19th annual A Night at Sardi’s benefit set for March 16 at the BevHilton.
Iger will receive the Abe Burrows Entertainment Award for his contributions to the Chicago-based nonprofit. Kudo was established in memory of the prolific playwright by his daughter, Laurie Burrows Grad. This year’s show will feature notable thesps and singers performing Cole Porter tunes.
To date, the Sardi’s benefits have raised $18 million for the Alzheimer’s Assn.
“Bob has witnessed first-hand the effects of Alzheimer’s and has been a champion for the Alzheimer’s Assn. for many years,” Grad said.
