LONDON — The distribution arm of U.K. “super-indie” All3Media has sold Netflix 175 hours of drama.All3Media International’s package includes “Apparitions,” made by Lime Pictures, and “Accused,” made by RSJ Pictures. Both shows were commissioned by the BBC in Blighty. Paul Corney, vice president of digital distribution for All3Media International, said there was “significant appetite” for British shows in the U.S. He added: “Netflix provides a fantastic opportunity for audiences to find these acclaimed shows.” At the recent Mipcom sales market Netflix agreed a deal with Zodiak Rights for supernatural saga “Being Human,” both the original U.K. show and the U.S. remake. Distributors are increasingly striking deals with on-demand platforms such as Netflix.
