Aidan Quinn has been cast as Lt. Kenny Rowe on the NBC drama pilot “Prime Suspect.”
Maria Bello has already been attached to the pilot, which is a U.S. adaptation of the British skein that starred Helen Mirren. She’ll play Det. Jane Timoney, who toils in a tough New York precinct dominated by men. Pilot, from writer Alexandra Cunningham, is from Universal Media Studios. Cunninghan will exec produce with Peter Berg and Sarah Aubrey, the duo behind NBC’s “Friday Night Lights.” Berg will also direct the pilot. Quinn previously co-starred on NBC’s “Third Watch” and “The Book of Daniel.”
