Net extends order for freshman series

ABC Family has extended its order for freshman series “Switched at Birth” from 10 to 32 episodes, with the back order of 22 to premiere in early 2012.

The audience for “Switched” has grown over time, with its July 25 episode reaching series highs among viewers 12-34.
