Donald Trump broke some news at NBC’s upfront presentation, telling the crowd that he will not seek the GOP nomination in the presidential race next year.

“I will not be running for president, as much as I’d like to,” the “Celebrity Apprentice” host told the crowd at the Hilton.

NBC execs had been pressuring Trump to make a formal decision as the uncertainty about his White House ambitions had generated criticism of the network — even from one of its own in-house hosts, MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell.

“I’ve been calling Donald for the past two weeks convincing him to make a decision,” NBC Entertainment chief Robert Greenblatt said.
