Michael Waldron has been named veepee and creative director of design and animation at TV Land. Waldron co-founded Nailgun, a creative company focused on developing client branding strategy, and has been prexy and creative director since 2003.

Spike TV has tapped Tom Zappala exec veepee of programming. Recently, Zappala was exec veepee of acquisitions and scheduling at Disney/ABC Cable Networks Group.

Joe DelGrosso has been named exec veep and managing director and Matt Boxer has been appointed to senior veep of Univision Communications’ political and advocacy group.

Lifetime networks has hired Meghan Hooper VP of program acquisitions. Recently, Hooper was director of program acquisitions and administration for NBCUniversal.

Agent Angelo Padilla has joined Buchwald/Fortitude. He will remain an agent and be based in Los Angeles office. Prior to joining the agency, Angelo agented at Greene & Associates and before that at ICM.

The Entertainment Group division of Viacom has appointed Kassie Canter as exec VP of communications. Canter previously served as chief communications officer at Oxygen Media.
