NBCUniversal has upped Scott Schiller to exec veep of digital media sales for the entertainment and digital networks and integrated media division. He will oversee advertising sales for such Web properties as Television Without Pity, Swirl, DailyCandy, iVillage and Fandango.
Lauren Bosworth has joined sports and entertainment agency Octagon Entertainment as manager of client development in its entertainment practice. Bosworth is known for her roles on MTV’s “Laguna Beach” and “The Hills.”
Irene M. Esteves has been promoted to executive veep and chief financial officer of Time Warner Cable. Esteves was previously XL Group exec VP and chief financial officer.
Paulist Prods. has tapped Marybeth Sprows as director of development. Sprows comes to the production shingle after serving stints in development at Imagine TV and working for producers Greg Berlanti and J.J. Abrams.
Content Television, a division of Content Media Corp. (formerly ContentFilm), has appointed Matt Cooperstein to lead its kid, teen and tween programming activities. Cooperstein was previously with Toonz Entertainment.
