APA buys additional digs

Agency purchases next door building on Beverly Drive

APA has a new neighbor — itself.

As the tenpercentery expands, it has purchased the building next door at 417 S. Beverly Drive to make room for 15 additional offices to house its 166 employees, including 75 agents, four of whom were recently promoted.

Sheva Cohen, David Meese, A.J. Paul and John Seitzer have all been upped from coordinators to agents in APA’s L.A. office.

Cohen joins the talent department, having served as assistant to Todd Eisner, while Paul joins the international concerts department, where he served as assistant to Keith Naisbitt. Meese is now a TV lit agent, and Seitzer has been made an agent in the alternative and international TV department.

“In a difficult economy, we are expanding in all areas,” said APA prexy-CEO Jim Gosnell.
