He played Frank Nitti on 1960s crime drama

Bruce Gordon, who played mobster Frank Nitti on TV series “The Untouchables” from 1959 to 1963, died Jan. 20 in Santa Fe, N.M., following a long illness. He was 94.

Before “The Untouchables,” Gordon played cops, prosecutors and cowboys on numerous television shows.

He appeared in “Gunsmoke,” “Maverick,” “Perry Mason,” “Bonanza” and “Get Smart” and later in “Adam-12,” “The Doris Day Show” and “Simon and Simon.”

Gordon was a member of the original Broadway cast of “Arsenic and Old Lace” in 1941.

Survivors include his wife, Marla.
