BERLIN — Tandem Communications has tapped Randall Broman, former 20th Century Fox Int’l. Television European VP, as its new head of sales.
Broman worked at Fox for 13 years, first in Paris as manager of sales before re-locating to London, where he served as European VP.
Broman later joined Powercorp as European sales manager and played a vital role in launching its co-production arm with a focus on event miniseries. He was most recently Power’s president of worldwide sales. Broman has worked as an independent consultant for the past year before joining Munich-based Tandem.
“Randall’s vast experience complements Tandem’s focus on event programming very well,” said Tandem partner and managing director Rola Bauer. “I’m extremely confident that his level of maturity and know-how in our industry will be appreciated by our partners worldwide.”
Tandem’s current lineup includes “Ken Follett’s Journey into the Dark Ages,” a new two-part documentary series produced by Tandem and Story House Productions. Hosted by Follett, the series explores the darkest chapters of European history.
Tandem also produced and distributed the adaptations of Follett’s “Pillars of the Earth” and the upcoming sequel “World Without End.”
