Pasquale A. Servodidio, former prexy of RKO Television and Radio, died in Eastchester, N.Y., on March 15 after a four-year battle with lung cancer. He was 73.
Servodidio, who began his entertainment career in the mailroom for CBS Television, was prexy of RKO Television and Radio, which included affiliates of CBS, NBC and ABC, and then RKO General, managing broadcast facilities across the U.S. Servodidio grew up on a dairy farm in Westchester County, N.Y. He attended Fordham U., graduated from St. John’s U. graduate school and completed a management program at Harvard U. He also served two tours of duty in the U.S. Army, one during the Berlin Crisis. Servodidio is survived by his long-term companion, Ulla Servodidio, to whom he was once married, and two children.Former RKO chief Pasquale Servodidio dies at 73
