CAA has tapped Rick Marroquin to join its marketing deptt.Formerly the founder and CEO of Interpublic Group’s Identity, Marroquin has an arsenal of multicultural marketing experience, and a past client list including L’Oreal Paris, Chrysler, Home Depot and Johnson & Johnson. Marroquin was named Hispanic Marketer of the Year in 2006 by the Assn. of National Advertisers. He worked on strategies for McDonald’s, where he developed initiatives that targeted young Hispanic males. Marroquin’s expertise on multicultural demographics is aimed to add insight to CAA’s marketing department and help expand client opportunities.
