Bloomberg TV taps Andrew Morse

Exec led ABC News digital expansion

Bloomberg TV has a new U.S. topper: Andrew Morse, who comes to the network from ABC News. The exec will replace David Rhodes, now the president of CBS News, reporting to Bloomberg Media CEO Andy Lack.

Morse most recently led ABC’s coverage of the Japanese earthquake and subsequent nuclear crisis, as well as its reporting on the Egyptian revolution.

At ABC, Morse oversaw the news division’s digital assets including its websites and platforms for the iPad and iPhone.

Prior to his tenure at the Alphabet’s digital news group, he exec produced “Good Morning America” on weekends, in addition to three years as ABC News’ Asia bureau chief. Morse worked at ABC News for 15 years.
