Exec upped to Bravo, Style media prexy
Frances Berwick’s rise at NBC-Universal continues: the Bravo Media topper has been promoted to president of Bravo and Style media, giving her oversight of Style Network.
Style became part of NBCU’s entertainment and digital networks (E&D) division as a result of the NBCU/Comcast merger. Salaam Coleman Smith will continue as prexy of Style.
E&D chairman Lauren Zalaznick, who picked Berwick to succeed her at Bravo in 2008, said that Berwick’s brand-building strength would be a continued asset at Style. “Frances’ tenure at Bravo has been marked by industry-leading ratings and revenue growth,” Zalaznick said.
“I know that she will bring that same vision for the cultural zeitgeist and keen sensibility to Style as we evolve and grow this network in the months and years to come.”
