The irony of a film about a ground-breaking communications tool being spearheaded by uncommunicative founders was not lost on “The Social Network” producer Kevin Spacey.
“To me that’s one of the most amazing things about the story and the film. These two guys, who for all intents and purposes created the most remarkable social networking tool that the world has ever seen, no longer speak. That’s amazing,” Spacey said. “I think we have dramatized a story that we felt had all of the hallmarks of what made great drama because it was about betrayal, friendship, power … and that’s what makes these kinds of things fun for an audience to watch.”
