Sunflower signs licensing agreement with RightsFlow

Publishing co. catalog includes Goodman, Gaye, Redding

Sunflower Entertainment, the publishing and licensing company operated by the son and grandson of Chess Records co-founder Leonard Chess, has signed a blanket licensing agreement with collections and clearances firm RightsFlow.

RightsFlow will supply royalty accounting and payment services to Sunflower, whose cross-genre catalog includes compositions by Benny Goodman, Django Reinhardt, Count Basie, Jackie Wilson, Otis Redding and Marvin Gaye.

Sunflower administers the publishing and recording assets of Regent Music, Jewel Music Publishing, Ragbag Music Publishing, Discos Fuentes/Miami Records, Coronet Delphine and Sunflower Music.

Founded in 2002, New York-based Sunflower is helmed by Leonard and Jamar Chess and Juan Carlos Barguil.
