Firm taps UTA to foster H'w'd relations

MediaMorph, a New York-based developer of entertainment-tracking software, has closed a $2 million round of financing and secured representation by United Talent Agency.

Company has now raised $3.5 million since its formation in 2007. Financiers were not disclosed.

UTA will help introduce MediaMorph’s suite of software to producers of movies and TV shows, music and gamemakers, as well as publishers.

MediaMorph’s technology enables companies to manage how their content is digitally distributed and keep track of the pricing of their properties across a variety of platforms while offering up analysis of their activities.

Current MediaMorph clients include Comcast’s E!, G4 and Style nets, HBO, Sony Pictures and Warner Bros.

Company recently announced a partnership with LibreDigital to cater to digital book and magazine publishers.

“MediaMorph handles all the complexity of different types of rights and contracts across different business models, scheduling product distribution across various formats and channels, tracking and audience measurement, sales reporting and analysis, and complex royalty calculation and processing,” said Mike Sid, CEO of MediaMorph.
