Hollywood welcomes return of Wilson play

The opening for Lanford Wilson’s “Burn This” at the Mark Taper Forum attracted a large Hollywood crowd, unusual for an event east of Western Avenue.

The play, which world preemed at the Taper’s 1986-87 season before heading to Broadway, was welcomed back by a large West Coast contingent. The Casa after-party saw helmer Nicholas Martin surrounded by his cast, Brooks Ashmanskas, Ken Barnett, Zabryna Guevara and Adam Rothenberg, plus a guest list that included Martin Short, Victor Garber, Nate Corddry, Zachary Quinto, Ron Livingston, Rosemarie DeWitt, Bob Rehme plus Center Theater Group’s Michael Ritchie and Gordon Davidson.
