Thesp circles Sonia Friedman production

EXCLUSIVE: Kristin Scott Thomas is set to star in a new West End production of Harold Pinter’s love triangle drama “Betrayal,” according to sources close to the production.

Although producer Sonia Friedman would not comment, it is believed the production, helmed by Ian Rickson, will open in early June at the Comedy theater. It would follow the finish of his already extended SRO production of “The Children’s Hour” starring Keira Knightley and Elisabeth Moss.

Scott Thomas previously led Rickson’s London and Gotham production of Chekhov’s “The Seagull.” Contracts have yet to be inked but Douglas Henshall and Ben Miles (“The Norman Conquests”) are believed to be playing the two men in the central character’s life.
