Actress to star in MTC premiere
Adriane Lenox has signed on to appear in “Regrets,” the play opening Off Broadway in March in a production from Manhattan Theater Club. Carolyn Cantor (“After the Revolution”) has been tapped to helm.
The last MTC production in which Lenox appeared was the 2004 offering “Doubt.”
In “Regrets,” the actress plays the owner of a Nevada retreat in the 1950s when men could arrange quick divorces.
Play by Brit scribe Matt Charman makes its world preem at MTC. Further casting remains to be announced for the show, which centers on one man’s visit to the cabins and the reasons behind it.
Dates for MTC’s “Regrets” have shifted slightly, with the production now beginning previews March 8 ahead of a March 27 opening at the company’s Off Broadway stage at New York City Center.
