The preems of Charlayne Wood-ard’s latest play “The Night Watcher,” Culture Clash in Richard Montoya’s “American Night: The Ballad of Juan Jose” and Danai Gurira’s “The Convert” highlight the 2011-12 slate of Center Theater Group’s Kirk Douglas Theater.

The Culver City stage returns DouglasPlus programming, with Rude Mechs’ tuner “I’ve Never Been So Happy” and a reading of the Burglars of Hamm’s “The Behavior of Broadus.”

Center Theater Group a.d. Michael Ritchie also announced “A Raisin in the Sun” as part of the Douglas’ season, which runs Sept. 17 through June.

In addition, Bruce Norris’ “Clybourne Park” will run at CTG’s Mark Taper Forum from March 7 through April 22.
