MONTREAL — The Just for Laughs comedy festival is heading Down Under.

The Montreal-based Just for Laughs Group announced Thursday that it is setting up a new event, Just for Laughs at the Sydney Opera House. It already has offshoots in Toronto and Chicago.

The lineup for the Oz edition, which will run Sept. 1-4, includes John Cleese, Louis C.K., Dylan Moran, Margaret Cho and Wil Anderson.

Just for Laughs is partnering with Australian comedy producer Adrian Bohm Presents to produce the event in a three-year deal.

The Montreal fest runs July 5-31.
