Scribes to include Logan, Blythe, Schama

“Decade,” a multi-authored play investigating the legacy of 9/11, will premiere in London in a site-specific production helmed by Rupert Goold (“Macbeth,” “Enron”).

Subject to ongoing contractual negotiations, the play’s writers from both the U.K. and the U.S. will include stage and screen scribe John Logan (“Red”), Alecky Blythe (“London Road”) and historian Simon Schama. The production has been conceived and developed by Goold with Robert Icke.

Tony winner Adam Cork (“Red”) will create music and a sound-score for the production, which will be threaded through with choreography by Scott Ambler. The production, by Goold’s touring company Headlong in association with Chichester Festival Theater, runs Sept. 1-Oct. 15 with a Sept. 8 press night.

The “found space” venue, a warehouse at St. Katherine’s Docks by London landmark Tower Bridge, is a former trading floor next to London’s former World Trade Center.
