Four boost road grosses

Road grosses

Four of the nine shows pulled in more than $1 million in Week 21 (Oct. 17-23). Total box office rose 3.7%, as “Mary Poppins” in Chicago saw its gross rise by almost $250,000. “Les Miserables” in Washington, D.C., with nearly $1.6 million in sales, overtook “Wicked,” which stayed in smaller venues during the week. Total gross for the sesh was $9,248,331.
