Four boost road grosses

Road grosses

NEW YORK — Four of the 10 shows pulled in more than $1 million in Week 48 (April 18-24). Overall B.O. declined 4%, with the weeklong hiatus of “Hair” responsible for most of the downturn. “The Lion King” snatched the crown from “Wicked” in its first week in Toronto with nearly $1.5 million in sales, though some of that is due to the greenback being worth less than the loonie. Total gross for the week was $8,853,341.
