Road Grosses

NEW YORK — Five of the nine shows pulled in more than $1 million in Week 5 (June 27-July 3). With “Hair” on hiatus before moving back to Broadway for the summer and “9 to 5″ unable to report box office numbers due to a prior deal with a foreign distributor, box office sagged almost 18%. The Washington, D.C., production of “Wicked” led all shows with nearly $1.7 million in sales. Total gross for the week was $9,987,582.
