Five boost road grosses

Road grosses

Five shows pulled in more than $1 million in Week 30 (Dec. 19-25). Total box office fell 16.25% with “Mamma Mia!” on hiatus, “Memphis” choosing not to report its figures in Toronto, and a truncated holiday performance schedule. During its fourth week in Los Angeles, “Wicked” overtook its sister show in Detroit for the top spot, with just over $1.7 million in sales. Total gross for the week was $9,845,871.
