Cromer joins Raine’s ‘Tribes’

Play moves from Royal Court to Barrow Street

The Olivier-nommed “Tribes,” which bowed at London’s Royal Court, is getting a commercial production directed by David Cromer at Off Broadway’s Barrow Street Theater

The Nina Raine-penned comedy, which follows a deaf boy in a hearing family, is scheduled to begin performances in mid-February with an opening date set for March 4.

Cromer’s most recent Gotham outing was a revival of John Guare’s “House of Blue Leaves” on Broadway, starring Edie Falco and Ben Stiller.

Tickets for “Tribes” go on sale Dec. 15.
