'Iris' premiere afterparty takes place in Hollywood

For the afterparty of Cirque du Soleil’s “Iris” premiere, the big top was set on Hollywood Boulevard in front of the Kodak Theater on Sunday evening.

Guests, including James Gandolfini, Neil Patrick Harris and Jon Favreau could sample food from eateries at Hollywood and Highland.

Founder Guy Laliberte said Cirque first visited L.A. 24 years ago. “Here we are presenting to you, thinking we’ll nurture that love affair for many years. Our commitment to you to be involved not only by providing this show but also by networking.

“Every of you hasn’t paid for your ticket,” he added, suggesting that people buy ducats for a Nov. 10 benefit perf for One Drop, an org to provide water to all.
