Julie Kavner, Steve Guttenberg and Marlo Thomas are among the thesps signed up for “Relatively Speaking,” the trio of one-acts that opens on Broadway in the fall.
Danny Hoch, Ari Graynor, Grant Shaud, Lisa Emery and Fred Melamed have also made the cast list for the show, comprised of plays by Woody Allen, Ethan Coen and Elaine May.
All three short comedies — Allen’s “Honeymoon Motel,” Coen’s “Talk Therapy” and May’s “George Is Dead” — address the notion of family, though each in a different way. John Turturro directs.
“Relatively Speaking” is produced by Julian Schlossberg and Letty Aronson, both alums of “Death Defying Acts,” a 1995 Off Broadway staging of a similar trio of one-acts by May, Allen and David Mamet. Edward Walson, Leroy Schecter and Roy Furman have signed on as co-producers
